These Virtual Pre-Marital Support Sessions for Fire Couples are a free, online program created specifically for engaged or newly married firefighter couples. Dr. Rachelle Zemlok is a licensed clinical psychologist who focuses her practice on supporting first responders and their families. As the spouse of a firefighter herself, Dr. Zemlok brings both personal insight and clinical expertise to her work, bridging the gap between professional support and lived experience. She is passionate about equipping fire families with tools for emotional well-being, communication, and resilience. Dr. Zemlok is also a published author and national consultant, widely recognized for her advocacy and contributions to firefighter mental health.

Yes. There is no cost to participate.
Do I have to attend both sessions?
These sessions are thoughtfully designed to build upon one another to offer you and your partner the highest level of impact.
Who can join?
Engaged or newly married firefighter couples (within the past year), where one or both partners are firefighters.
Are these therapy sessions?
These are educational and supportive group sessions, not therapy or medical treatment. Presenters are licensed professionals and will share tools and resources; for individual clinical care, please consult your provider.
Will the sessions be recorded?
To protect privacy and encourage open sharing, sessions will not be recorded. (If this changes, we'll notify registrants.)
What technology do I need?
A device with internet access and Zoom. A quiet, private space and headphones are recommended.
How is privacy handled?
We ask participants to respect confidentiality. We'll review group guidelines at the start of each session.
