Pickleball Tournament 2024 - click for a full recap
Fire Family Foundation hosted their first Blazing Paddles Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Chicken N Pickle in Grand Prairie, Texas. We netted over $1,000 at our first tournament – all of which will go to support firefighters and their families in times of need.
2023
Fire Family Foundation hosted their 10th annual Fire Boot Classic fundraiser on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Castaway in Burbank, CA. We raised over $160,000 – which was the most successful Fire Boot Classic in the event’s 10- year history. Thank you to all those who attended and donated!

2022
On Saturday, October 1, 2022, we hosted our 9th annual Fire Boot Classic fundraiser at Castaway in Burbank, CA. This year’s event was a huge success, we raised more than $145,000—that’s over $10,000 more than we’ve ever raised in the past!
2021
On Saturday, October 9, 2021, we hosted our 8th annual Fire Boot Classic fundraiser at The London West Hollywood Hotel. It was a beautiful evening under the stars with our classic poker tournament and exciting casino games. This year’s event raised over $125,000!
Nationwide Ride
The Nationwide Ride is a two-person charity cycling event that will kick off on Good Morning America on July 5, 2021. The coast-to-coast ride will span over 3,500 miles and directly benefit eight worthy nonprofit foundations. Join Us or Get Involved

2020
On Saturday, November 21, 2020, Fire Family Foundation hosted our 7th annual Fire Boot Classic online. Special guest MC Fritz Coleman took us through an action-packed hour featuring: a show by magician Tam Vo, a regular at the world-famous Magic Castle; live and silent auctions; a Firehouse Mule drink mixing tutorial from in-kind sponsor Jack Daniels; a wine presentation from in-kind sponsor Ampelos Vineyard and Cellars; two exceptional honorees Richard Frawley, Deputy Chief with the Milpitas Fire Department, and Marcus Linden, CSE Insurance Group. We also heard from some of the fire family who we recently assisted including a firefighter and scholarship recipients. If you missed the event, you can watch it here:

The Fire Family Foundation and the Crack Shack in Pasadena, Encinitas and Costa Mesa partnered to host a Dine-Out or Drive-Thru event. Diners who mentioned the Fire Family Foundation when they ordered or picked up, had 15% of their order donated to help firefighters in need! Thank you diners and Crack Shack for participating in this delicious way to help firefighters in need.

2019
December 15, 2019
On Sunday, December 15, 2019, Fire Family Foundation hosted its Second Annual Wine Tasting fundraiser benefitting firefighters in need. The event was held at the Law Offices of Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP in Glendale, CA and featured premium estate wines from Laetitia Winery. The event also featured a silent auction and appetizers. All of the wine was available for order at the event, and a portion of the sales from each bottle sold was donated to Fire Family Foundation. Over seventy guests were in attendance, including Fritz Coleman, NBC4 weathercaster, and Trevor Welch and Ed Foster, two firefighters from the local Glendale Fire Department.
Fire Family Foundation would like to thank Jerry Horwedel and Laetitia Winery for providing wines for the event. The Foundation would also like to thank Tom Daly and Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP for hosting the event at their offices.
On Saturday, April 27, 2019, Fire Family Foundation hosted our 6th Annual Fire Boot Classic Charity Event at The London Hotel in West Hollywood. This event featured a Casino Night and Poker Tournament, with Drinks, Dining, a Silent Auction, Live Auction, and Fun!

December 16, 2018
On December 16, 2018, from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Fire Family Foundation hosted a wine tasting fundraiser benefitting firefighters and their families. The event took place at the Historic Van Nuys Library and featured premium estate wines from Laetitia Winery. These wines showcased the distinctive qualities of the Arroyo Grande Valley along with their sister label NADIA wines sourced from their Santa Barbara Highlands Vineyard. All of the wine was available for order at the event, including the exclusive “Firefighter Red Gift Package.” A portion of the sales from each bottle sold was donated to Fire Family Foundation.
